The Chatfield Gophers basketball team (Chatfield, MN), was overwhelmed 75-31 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Fillmore Central Falcons (Harmony, MN)
The Falcons now possess a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lanesboro for a A Section 1 battle on Saturday, January 20. Fillmore Central will battle a Burros team coming off a 54-30 league loss to Spring Grove (Spring Grove, MN). The Burros record now stands at 3-11.
The Gophers (4-16) will now prepare for their battle against Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Rushford-Peterson trounced St. Charles (St. Charles, MN), 103-94, in a non-league battle.
