Shelby Coyotes (Shelby, MT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Choteau Bulldogs (Choteau, MT), 68-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, Shelby upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Chinook (Chinook, MT) to play the Beeters in a B District 1 bout on Saturday, January 20. The Beeters come into the bout with a record of 3-7. Chinook won 77-62 in their recent league bout against Fort Benton (Fort Benton, MT)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Rocky Boy Northern Stars (Box Elder, MT) in a B District 1 bout, on Saturday, January 20. Choteau will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
