Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Coastal Academy Stingrays (Oceanside, CA) and the host Classical Academy Caimans (Escondido, CA), saw Coastal Academy's basketball squad knock off Classical Academy by a count of 55-37.

With the victory, Coastal Academy upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Stingrays travel to Guajome Park Academy (Vista, CA) to play the Frogs in a Ocean challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Frogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-11.

Next up, the Caimans play the Fallbrook Warriors (Fallbrook, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 63-58 league loss to Escondido (Escondido, CA).
