Cole Valley Christian Chargers (Meridian, ID) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Nampa Christian Trojans (Nampa, ID), 55-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Cole Valley Christian upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Chargers host Marsing (Marsing, ID) to play the Huskies in a 2A Western Idaho bout on Monday, January 22. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Marsing lost 61-42 in their recent league bout against The Ambrose School (Meridian, ID)

Next up, the Trojans play the New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) in a 2A Western Idaho bout, on Monday, January 22. Nampa Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Pilgrims go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 70-16 league win over North Star (Eagle, ID).
