The Commerce Tigers (Commerce, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX), 58-43 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers (13-11) will now prepare for their test against Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Buffaloes go into the 3A Region II District 12 test with a 17-9 record. In their last test, Lone Oak notched a victory over Rains (Emory, TX), 52-46, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Edgewood for a 3A Region II District 12 test on Tuesday, January 23. Prairiland will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 45-38 league loss to Commerce (Commerce, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-11.
