The Wabeno/Laona Rebels (Wabeno, WI) basketball felled the visiting Crandon Cardinals (Crandon, WI), 50-37 in Friday's league test.

The Rebels (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Elcho (Elcho, WI). The Hornets go into the Northern Lakes test with a 3-13 record.

The Cardinals now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Northland Pines for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23.
