With the victory, Kermit upgrades its record to 14-11 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets host Stanton (Stanton, TX) to play the Buffaloes in a 3A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 11-15. Stanton won 46-41 in their recent league challenge against Tornillo (Tornillo, TX)

Next up, the Cranes play the Alpine Bucks (Alpine, TX) in a 3A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Crane will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Bucks come into the challenge with a 19-5 record after their 81-34 league win over Compass Academy (Odessa, TX).
