The River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) basketball nipped the host Creekview Grizzlies (Canton, GA), 41-37 in Friday's league test.

The Knights (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Chiefs go into the AAAAAA Region 6 test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Sequoyah got by West Forsyth (Cumming, GA), 69-54, in a non-league test.

The Grizzlies now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Cambridge for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Creekview will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 64-58 league win over Centennial (Roswell, GA). The Bears record now stands at 14-4.
