The Magee Trojans basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Crystal Springs Tigers to 50 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hazlehurst for a 3A Region 6 contest on Saturday, January 20. Magee will battle a Indians team coming off a 66-13 league loss to Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS). The Indians record now stands at 0-15.
The Tigers (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS). The Jaguars come into the 3A Region 6 contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Jefferson Davis County edged Hazlehurst (Hazlehurst, MS), 66-13, in a league contest.
