In Friday's league outing, the Culver City Centaurs (Culver City, CA) basketball squad edged the host Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA), by a margin of 67-63.
The Centaurs (14-6) will now prepare for their outing against Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Sea Hawks go into the Bay outing with a 18-4 record. In their last outing, Redondo Union held off Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA), 74-58, in a league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 14-8 record. They play next when they travel to Dougherty Valley for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 20. Mira Costa will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 77-46 league win over Livermore (Livermore, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-8.
