With the victory, De Kalb improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Pewitt (Omaha, TX) to confront the Brahmas in a 3A Region II District 14 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Brahmas come into the challenge with a record of 9-16. Pewitt lost 73-43 in their recent league challenge against Hooks (Hooks, TX)

Next up, the Lions encounter the Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX) in a 3A Region II District 14 test, on Friday, January 26. New Boston will attempt to advance on its 7-11 season record.
