With the victory, DeQuincy upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA) to play the Hornets in a 2A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 6-12.

Next up, the Tigers play the Vinton Lions (Vinton, LA) in a 2A District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Lake Arthur will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record.
