North Carolina High School Basketball - Dixon nipped by Richlands

The Richlands Wildcats tipped the visiting Dixon Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 47-42 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) in a 3A Coastal game, on Monday, January 22. Richlands will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Patriots enter the game with a 7-9 record after their 76-59 league loss to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC).

With the defeat, Dixon moves to 6-10 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC) to face the Pirates in a 3A Coastal game on Wednesday, January 24.
