The Valley Heights Mustangs basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Doniphan West Mustangs to 52 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Creek for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Valley Heights will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 57-48 non-league win over Sabetha (Sabetha, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-1.

The Mustangs (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Frankfort (Frankfort, KS). The Wildcats enter the Twin Valley contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Frankfort was defeated by Clifton-Clyde (Clyde, KS), 52-51, in a non-league contest.
