The Eldorado Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Water Valley Wildcats to 33 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christoval for a 2A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Eldorado will battle a Cougars team coming off a 51-45 league win over Forsan (Forsan, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 13-9.
The Wildcats (10-15) will now prepare for their contest against Ozona (Ozona, TX). The Lions come into the 2A Region I District 7 contest with a 11-13 record. In their last contest, Ozona triumphed over Sonora (Sonora, TX), 39-38, in a league contest.
