The Snyder Tigers basketball team (Snyder, TX), was overwhelmed 81-47 in Friday's league battle with the host Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX)

The Matadors now possess a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sweetwater for a 4A Region I District 5 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Estacado will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 73-37 league win over Big Spring (Big Spring, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-10.

The Tigers (8-16) will now prepare for their battle against Lake View (San Angelo, TX). The Chiefs come into the 4A Region I District 5 battle with a 9-19 record. In their last battle, Lake View was overwhelmed by Levelland (Levelland, TX), 74-69, in a league battle.
