With the victory, Fayette County upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 15-2. Sandy Creek won 57-52 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Panthers play the LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) in a AAAA Region 4 challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Starr's Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Grangers come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 54-42 league win over North Clayton (College Park, GA).
