The First Baptist School Hurricanes basketball team (Charleston, SC), was nudged 59-52 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC)
The Cyclones now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Newman for a non-league battle on Monday, January 22. Porter-Gaud will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 49-42 league win over Hammond (Columbia, SC). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-13.
The Hurricanes (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Marion (Santee, SC). The Gators come into the non-league battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, Lake Marion was nudged by Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 91-32, in a league battle.
