Fans at Friday's league battle between the Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) and the host Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA), saw Jefferson's basketball team trounce Flowery Branch by a tally of 81-44.

The Dragons now possess a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winder-Barrow for a AAAAA Region 8 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Jefferson will battle a Bulldoggs team coming off a 71-55 league win over Clarke Central (Athens, GA). The Bulldoggs record now stands at 18-3.

The Falcons (4-17) will now prepare for their battle against Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA). The Bulldoggs come into the AAAAA Region 8 battle with a 18-3 record.
