The Miners now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeland Christian for a 3A District 7 battle on Monday, January 22. Fort Meade will confront a Vikings team coming off a 79-69 league win over Frostproof (Frostproof, FL). The Vikings record now stands at 10-4.

The Wildcats (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Placid (Lake Placid, FL). The Dragons come into the 4A District 11 battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Lake Placid dropped by Avon Park (Avon Park, FL), 44-38, in a league battle.
