The Millry Wildcats basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Fruitdale Pirates to 44 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marengo for a 1A Area 4 contest on Saturday, January 20. Millry will battle a Panthers team coming off a 57-35 league win over Sweet Water (Sweet Water, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 7-6.
The Pirates (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against McIntosh (McIntosh, AL). The Demons come into the 1A Area 1 contest with a 19-3 record. In their last contest, McIntosh triumphed over Leroy (Leroy, AL), 62-47, in a league contest.
