Illinois High School Basketball - Quincy crushes Geneseo

Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL), 75-13 in a league bout.

With the win, Quincy upgrades its record to 18-1 on the season. The Blue Devils host Imhotep Charter (Philadelphia, PA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 13-2. Imhotep Charter won 66-48 in their recent non-league bout against Chaminade (St. Louis, MO)

Next up, the Maple Leafs clash with the East Moline United Panthers (East Moline, IL) in a Western Big 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Geneseo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 52-40 league win over Alleman (Rock Island, IL).
