Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Gilbert Classical Academy Spartans (Gilbert, AZ), saw Leading Edge Academy - GEC's basketball squad wallop Gilbert Classical Academy by a count of 66-34.

With the victory, Leading Edge Academy - GEC upgrades its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Spartans host San Tan Charter (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Roadrunners in a 2A Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Roadrunners come into the challenge with a record of 20-3.
