The Glascock County Panthers basketball team (Gibson, GA), was overwhelmed 77-25 in Friday's league battle with the host Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA)

The Cobras now possess a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hancock Central for a A D2 Region 5 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Twiggs County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 73-50 league win over Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-7.

The Panthers (0-14) will now prepare for their battle against Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA). The Trojans come into the A D2 Region 5 battle with a 1-7 record.
