Rickards Raiders (Tallahassee, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Godby Cougars (Tallahassee, FL), 66-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rickards upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Raiders host Milton (Milton, FL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 16-2. Milton won 68-63 in their recent league bout against Tate (Cantonment, FL)

Next up, the Cougars play the Rutherford Rams (Panama City, FL) in a 4A District 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Godby will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 83-50 non-league win over Fort Walton Beach (Fort Walton Beach, FL).
