Woodsville Engineers (Woodsville, NH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Gorham Huskies (Gorham, NH), 55-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Woodsville upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Engineers host Pittsburg (Pittsburg, NH) to clash with the Panthers in a Division IV bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-5.

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Groveton Eagles (Groveton, NH) in a Division IV bout, on Monday, January 22. Gorham will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 68-51 league loss to Colebrook Academy (Colebrook, NH).
