The Lake Taylor Titans (Norfolk, VA) basketball crushed the host Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA), 69-20 in Friday's league test.

The Titans (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Norcom (Portsmouth, VA). The Greyhounds go into the Eastern test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Norcom was trounced by Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA), 57-54, in a league test.

The Comets now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host First Colonial for a non-league test on Monday, January 22. Granby will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 53-30 league loss to Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-10.
