    • California High School Basketball - Harvard-Westlake can't hold off Sierra Canyon

    The Harvard-Westlake Wolverines basketball team (Studio City, CA), was nudged 74-68 in Friday's league battle with the host Sierra Canyon Trailblazers (Chatsworth, CA)

    The Trailblazers now sport a 21-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valencia for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 20. Sierra Canyon will battle a Vikings team coming off a 73-42 league win over Castaic (Castaic, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 10-10.

    The Wolverines (20-3) will now prepare for their battle against Chaminade (West Hills, CA). The Eagles come into the Mission battle with a 16-9 record. In their last battle, Chaminade was nudged by Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA), 94-80, in a league battle.
