In Friday's non-league outing, the Keys Cougars (Park Hill, OK) basketball squad beat the host Hilldale Hornets (Muskogee, OK), by a count of 63-44.
The Cougars (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against Westville (Westville, OK). The Yellowjackets go into the Big Eight outing with a 4-8 record.
The Hornets now hold a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Wagoner for a Verdigris Valley outing on Saturday, January 20. Hilldale will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-56 league win over Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-5.
