The Riverview Pirates basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Huron Chiefs to 34 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a Huron contest on Tuesday, January 23. Riverview will meet a Bears team coming off a 64-56 league loss to Airport (Carleton, MI). The Bears record now stands at 6-6.

The Chiefs (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI). The Falcons/Kestrels enter the Huron contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, St. Mary Catholic Central was outscored by Airport (Carleton, MI), 52-35, in a league contest.
