The Yoakum Bulldogs topped the visiting Industrial Cobras basketball team by a final score of 56-38 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 game, on Tuesday, January 23. Yoakum will attempt to improve on its 14-12 season record. The Cardinals come into the battle with a 15-7 record after their 72-68 league win over Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX).

The Cobras (8-16) will now prepare for their battle against Palacios (Palacios, TX). The Sharks come into the 3A Region IV District 25 battle with a 9-19 record. In their last battle, Palacios dropped by Tidehaven (El Maton, TX), 54-32, in a league battle.
