The Shamrocks now possess a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carmel for a East Suburban Catholic battle on Saturday, January 20. St. Patrick will confront a Corsairs team coming off a 71-61 league loss to Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Corsairs record now stands at 9-13.

The Hilltoppers (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 6-15 record. In their last battle, Plainfield Central was overwhelmed by Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 70-40, in a league battle.
