The Joliet J Hawks (Joliet, MT) basketball knocked off the visiting Sweet Grass County Sheepherders (Big Timber, MT), 55-45 in Friday's league test.

The J Hawks (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Shepherd (Shepherd, MT). The Mustangs go into the B District 4 test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Shepherd went down by Park City (Park City, MT), 64-33, in a league test.

The Sheepherders now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Columbus for a B District 4 test on Saturday, January 20. Sweet Grass County will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 77-63 non-league win over Huntley Project (Worden, MT). The Cougars record now stands at 7-2.
