In Friday's league outing, the McKay Royal Scots (Salem, OR) basketball squad edged the visiting Lebanon Warriors (Lebanon, OR), by a margin of 66-60.

The Royal Scots (4-8) will now prepare for their outing against Central (Independence, OR). The Panthers go into the 5A Mid-Willamette outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Central held off Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR), 51-41, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Woodburn for a 5A Mid-Willamette outing on Monday, January 22. Lebanon will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 58-46 league win over Dallas (Dallas, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.
