The Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Magnolia Science Academy Reseda Warriors to 36 in the Pioneers league victory on Friday.

The Pioneers now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Discovery for a Central Valley contest on Wednesday, January 24. Sun Valley Magnet will battle a Warriors team coming off a 51-41 league loss to Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology (Sun Valley, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.

The Warriors (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Balboa College Prep (Lake Balboa, CA). The Cougars come into the Central Valley contest with a 3-8 record.
