Montana High School Basketball - Poplar ripped by Malta

The Malta Mustangs basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Poplar Indians to 38 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlem for a B District 2 contest on Saturday, January 20. Malta will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 64-54 league loss to Glasgow (Glasgow, MT). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-5.
The Indians (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wolf Point (Wolf Point, MT). The Wolves enter the B District 2 contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Wolf Point was routed by Fairview (Fairview, MT), 73-50, in a league contest.
