New York High School Basketball - Maple Grove knocked off by Westfield

The Westfield Wolverines basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Maple Grove Red Dragons to 47 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.
The Wolverines now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Panama for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II West contest on Monday, January 22. Westfield will battle a Panthers team coming off a 67-33 league win over Chautauqua Lake (Mayville, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 9-1.
The Red Dragons (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Clymer Central (Clymer, NY). The Pirates enter the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II West contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Clymer Central was defeated by Salamanca (Salamanca, NY), 65-52, in a non-league contest.
