The Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA) basketball crushed the visiting Woodland Beavers (Woodland, WA), 67-46 in Friday's league test.
The Monarchs (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA). The Spudders go into the 2A Greater St. Helens test with a 9-4 record.
The Beavers now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hockinson for a 2A Greater St. Helens test on Monday, January 22. Woodland will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 87-58 league win over Hudson's Bay (Vancouver, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 8-6.
