South Carolina High School Basketball - North Augusta crushes Midland Valley

North Augusta Yellow Jackets (North Augusta, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC), 84-60 in a league bout.

With the win, North Augusta upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Yellow Jackets travel to South Aiken (Aiken, SC) to play the Thoroughbreds in a AAAA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Thoroughbreds go into the bout with a record of 4-17. South Aiken lost 64-60 in their recent league bout against Aiken (Aiken, SC)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 bout, on Friday, January 26. Midland Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-14 record after their 67-56 league loss to Aiken (Aiken, SC).
