Oregon High School Basketball - Toledo topped by Monroe

The Monroe Dragons basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Toledo Boomers to 52 in the Dragons league victory on Friday.

The Dragons now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lowell for a 2A Valley Coast contest on Tuesday, January 23.

The Boomers (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Oakridge (Oakridge, OR). The Warriors come into the 2A Valley Coast contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Oakridge was defeated by Central Linn (Halsey, OR), 76-45, in a league contest.
