The Spartans now possess a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Gabriel for a Almont battle on Tuesday, January 23. Schurr will battle a Matadors team coming off a 63-50 league loss to Mark Keppel (Alhambra, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 11-13.

The Oilers (11-13) will now prepare for their battle against Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA). The Lancers come into the Almont battle with a 4-17 record. In their last battle, Bell Gardens was overwhelmed by Alhambra (Alhambra, CA), 66-39, in a league battle.
