The Mt. Ararat Eagles basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Westbrook Blue Blazes to 37 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fryeburg for a A South contest on Thursday, January 25. Mt. Ararat will meet a Raiders team coming off a 54-47 non-league loss to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME). The Raiders record now stands at 6-7.

The Blue Blazes (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Biddeford (Biddeford, ME). The Tigers enter the A South contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Biddeford was nudged by Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME), 56-51, in a league contest.
