The Myrtle Beach Seahawks basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting North Myrtle Beach Chiefs to 43 in the Seahawks league victory on Friday.
The Seahawks now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Florence for a AAAA Region 6 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Myrtle Beach will battle a Knights team coming off a 83-61 league loss to South Florence (Florence, SC). The Knights record now stands at 6-13.
The Chiefs (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Wilson (Florence, SC). The Tigers enter the AAAA Region 6 match with a 17-4 record. In their last match, Wilson overcame Hartsville (Hartsville, SC), 68-45, in a league match.
