The New Albany Eagles basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Westerville Central Warhawks to 46 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Independence for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. New Albany will battle a 76ers team coming off a 62-53 non-league loss to Centennial (Columbus, OH). The 76ers record now stands at 0-12.

The Warhawks (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pickerington North (Pickerington, OH). The Panthers come into the Ohio Capital - Ohio contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Pickerington North was defeated by Lincoln (Gahanna, OH), 50-48, in a league contest.
