In Friday's league outing, the Newton Rams (Covington, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Parkview Panthers (Lilburn, GA), by a count of 83-58.
The Rams (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Grayson (Loganville, GA). The Rams go into the AAAAAAA Region 4 outing with a 17-2 record. In their last outing, Grayson smashed South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA), 58-42, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Shiloh for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 20. Parkview will clash with a Generals squad coming off a 68-43 league win over Gainesville (Gainesville, GA). The Generals record now stands at 15-3.
