Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the North Park Wildcats (Walden, CO) and the visiting West Grand Mustangs (Kremmling, CO), saw North Park's basketball squad knock off West Grand by a tally of 51-32.

With the victory, North Park improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Rangely (Rangely, CO) to play the Panthers in a 2A/1A Western Slope challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Rangely lost 44-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Little Snake River (Baggs, WY)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Vail Christian Saints (Edwards, CO) in a 2A/1A Western Slope challenge, on Saturday, January 20. West Grand will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 58-33 league win over Soroco (Oak Creek, CO).
