Texas High School Basketball - Pittsburg ripped by Pleasant Grove

The Pleasant Grove Hawks basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Pittsburg Pirates to 35 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.
The Hawks now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sulphur Springs for a 4A Region II District 15 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Pleasant Grove will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 50-39 league win over North Lamar (Paris, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-15.
The Pirates (6-18) will now prepare for their contest against Paris (Paris, TX). The Wildcats enter the 4A Region II District 15 contest with a 14-8 record. In their last contest, Paris triumphed over Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX), 57-51, in a league contest.
