The Poland Knights basketball team (Poland, ME), was overwhelmed 62-36 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME)

The Flyers now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Yarmouth Academy for a C South battle on Tuesday, January 23. Waynflete will confront a Panthers team coming off a 59-35 league loss to Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 4-8.

The Knights (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME). The Raiders come into the B South battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Oak Hill trounced Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME), 52-37, in a non-league battle.
