Raymond Rangers (Raymond, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wingfield Falcons (Jackson, MS), 71-41 in a league bout.
With the win, Raymond upgrades its record to 20-3 on the season. The Rangers travel to Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 24-2. Madison-Ridgeland Academy lost 67-55 in their recent league bout against Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS)
Next up, the Falcons play the Lanier Bulldogs (Jackson, MS) in a 4A Region 6 bout, on Monday, January 22. Wingfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-17 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 75-36 league loss to Raymond (Raymond, MS).
