The Reese Rockets basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots to 53 in the Rockets league triumph on Friday.

The Rockets now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vassar for a Greater Thumb - West contest on Wednesday, January 24. Reese will battle a Vulcans team coming off a 61-50 non-league win over Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy (Saginaw, MI). The Vulcans record now stands at 2-10.

The Patriots (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Cass City (Cass City, MI). The Red Hawks enter the Greater Thumb - West contest with a 11-0 record.
